Aslancık Dam and Hydroelectric Power Plant, constructed over the Harşit River, have 120 MW of installed power and produce an average 388 million kWh annually. They are located in Giresun, between the borders of Doğaken and Tirebolu provinces.
Aslancık Dam and HEPP Project are among six power plants and impoundments planned over the Harşit. Four of these projects have been realized in recent years and remain active.
